Well…it finally started to rain and it looks like it will be for a while so I need to find something else to do…and this is it…one of the things I did read is a new poll that has Marco Rubio running 4 points behind Val Demmings for one of the Florida senate seats and it would be so damn cool to see ole marco lose his seat…and another poll has the generic ballot for the house swinging to favor the dems by 7% and it is still almost 90 days before the election…the trend is up for the dems over the past months so I hope it continues…and new voter registration is heavily dem with almost 70% of them in reaction to the gutting of Roe by the corrupt SC….oh, and in the IRA bill that the repubs didn’t notice is a section that gives the EPA the authority to regulate greenhouse gasses that the corrupt SC, again, said they couldn’t, giving the coal industry a huge gift that they paid for when they donated to the right wing assholes who packed the court…and I think this was written specifically to poke the conservatives on the court in the eye for ignoring precedent and saying that the EPA couldn’t regulate those gasses unless a law specified that they could…so Schumer gave them one…tough crap…so, is there good news? Yep…for having a divided government, Biden is sure getting a lot done….now let’s see the ads touting these accomplishments…

Damn, repubs..stop whining…
Well….with the way the repubs have been whining about the just announced student loan forgiveness program from the Biden administration, you would think they are the ones who are going to have pay them back…but they aren’t…we’ll all help by paying our taxes and it will help the economy by giving some hard workers some relief to help them get started on their lives…and isn’t that what government for? Some of the biggest complainers against loan forgiveness are repubs who got PPP loans back when the economy needed a lifeline to prevent a depression from happening…and not a damn one of them complained when their loans were forgiven…especially Marjorie Taylor Greene whose company was forgiven almost 200 grand but who has been all over the tv today calling the loan forgiveness for students “socialism” and buying votes…so okay marge…give your 200 grand back if it’s socialism….and I’m sure you will honor you “principles” and do that…won’t you? Hypocrites…and even some of the biggest whiners got millions of dollars in loans forgiven so when are they going to give that back? Yeah, not going to happen but we need to be better at using this to shut them the hell up when they whine and whine…geez…
Impeach Clarence Thomas already….
Well…if conspiring with his wife to try to overthrow the government on January 6th wasn’t enough to impeach Clarence Thomas, what is? Could it be baldy going to political campaign rallies for repubs? That was the latest in his unethical behavior that every judge knows you just don’t do when he was the featured speaker at a Herschel Walker for senate rally just yesterday…blowing the hell out of the illusion of impartiality that the SC is supposed to have but that we know WAS just an illusion since mcconnell packed the courts with the three unqualified, lying judges who gutted Roe…but what can be done? John Roberts can take him aside and lay down the law but after the Dobbs decision, we know he doesn’t have the guts to do the job…so we have to support Chuck Schumer and his decision to try to force a code of ethics for the SC through congress and he needs to make it have some teeth such as removal from the seat if they violate it…all of these repubs have been getting away with ignoring the norms of society for far to long and they need to be held accountable…and now…geez..
Running late all day today…
Well…damn, ever since not getting going until after 8 this morning, I have been running late all day and I don’t much like it…just got back from the beach a few minutes ago so that make me late here, too…but I did want to talk a bit about the idiot and his new “legal” filing to try to get the stolen documents he took and that were seized by the FBI back in his greasy little hands…oh, and the funny thing is that idiot boy can’t find any lawyer to do this work for him so he did it himself and that generated huge laughs from the legal community because, of course, he did it all wrong and the timing of the filing is wrong, too…look, the idiot wants a “special master” appointed to look at the seized items and determine if they were legally in his possession and keep the FBI from looking at them…hey, genius, they have already looked at them or how could they put out an inventory of what you stole? Oh, and super genius, by filing this suit you admitted to having them in your possession and that is a crime…I’ll end here with an old saying that I’m not sure of it’s origin…”someone who represents himself in court has a fool for a client” and it sure looks like you do…what a maroon…geez…
Some good news for our side…
Well…just a quick one on some good news for our side in a poll that came out this weekend….this one asked people what their most important issue is for the election this fall…and get this, the top spot is “saving democracy” with 31% and that plays right into our messaging that has been going on since January 6th…that the dems will do everything in their power to save and protect democracy while the repubs are doing everything they can to destroy it….and our candidates for senate are polling so well that ole mitch mcconnell has just about given up ever being majority leader again and 538 has given us a 66% chance of holding the senate and holding the house is getting closer every day…but there is still work to do and I need everyone to go out and vote for our side…this is the most important election in the country’s history and we need to knock the repubs out for good…let’s do this….geez…
Searching for a topic…
Well…have been searching for a topic for today for quite a while now and am not having any luck so far…I did get a laugh a few minutes ago when I read the latest excuse why the idiot trump had 40 boxes of classified material in his tacky golf club and it has left me shaking my head….idiot boy needed all that material so he could write his “memoirs” according to some random congressman who I guess has been chosen to go out and lie to the public…and he also claimed that every other president has gotten to look at his papers for just that reason…but the key here is that none of them ever took boxes and boxes of them and stored them in their basement and then refused to give them back when the FBI came calling….the National Archives is always in control of them and they can only be copied after a review of how classified they are…and really, do you think that idiot boy is “writing” his memoirs? Hell, he can barely read let alone write and what purpose would nuclear secrets serve? Was he going to explain how nuclear weapons work? Yeah, that made me laugh, too…this coming from the idiot who said that windmills cause cancer and who is dumber than a box of rocks….could someone please indict this asshole soon? geez…
Ha, ha, ha…what did they expect?
Well…if it wasn’t bad enough that the repubs put up some seriously lousy candidates for the senate who are trailing in the polls…now it’s being reported that the repub senate committee is running out of money after raising 173 million dollars for the 33 senate races the repubs are in and only spending 20 million on ads and having only 28 million cash on hand left…and my only question is what did they expect with putting rick Scott in charge of this slush fund? You know ole ricky…the guy whose company stole billions from Medicare and had to pay the biggest fine in history of a billion dollars to settle the case…and yet these repub geniuses put this guy in charge of almost 200 million dollars? How much do you want to bet he skimmed off much of the 125 million that is not accounted for? How the heck to you spend 12 million dollars on an Amex card? Yep, that’s one of the bills that have been revealed but that is about it…no accounting, no nothing for the 125 mil that is missing….You know, it does make me kind of laugh when these repubs are taken for cash by one of their own and doesn’t leave much to spread their lies in the senate races…and, as I said the other day, this committee is canceling almost 15 million in ads that were to run this fall since they are almost out of cash…ha, ha, ha…mitch isn’t going to be majority leader of the senate and it is finally starting to sink in that maybe running a tv charlatan or a washed up running back for the senate wasn’t a good idea…poor babies….ha. ha. ha…again…geez…
Don’t be fooled Ohio…
Well…as I sit here waiting for the pizza to warm up, I thought I’d do one of these before I head out to the beach….Ohioans, don’t be fooled over the next few months when your airwaves will be flooded by ads for the right wing asshole Jd Vance that will try to lie and lie to you and make him into a reasonable person…but the only thing you need to know is that the 28 million dollars that are to be spent come from a political slush fund run by mitch mcconnell…you know the guy…he stole 3 supreme court seats that led to women losing their right to control their own bodies and now with some states trying to ensure that these rights are restored…that, by the way, over 70% of the people in this country want…mitch is trying to pack the senate with trump wannabees that would pass federal laws that would make sure the states couldn’t do it…that guy…and Vance’s opponent, Tim Ryan, would do everything in his power to protect those rights along with social security and medicare…so there is not really any choice to be made here…trump junior or a fighter for the people…Ohioans, don’t be fooled..vote for Ryan…
Weisselberg pleads guilty to 15 felonies…
Well…gee…didn’t see this one coming except for forever…Alan Weisselberg, the guy who ran the trump orginization for 40 years just plead guilty to 15 counts of felony tax fraud, larceny, and a bunch of other counts for fraud that went on for decades…and given that nothing at the trump company happened without the idiot trump’s okay, we are finally on the road to holding the entire trump crime family accountable for their business model of committing as many crimes as they can. There have been reports that he would only get a 5 month sentence for all of these guilty pleas but the caveat is that if he refuses to testify in the other trials of trump and his cronies, the ag will ask for the maximum sentences which would put him in jail for the rest of his life…so it appears that we are just getting started seeing the trumps on the hotseat and it needs to speed up and we need to see a perp walk of trump and all of his kids…it can’t happen too soon…geez…

Well… with Liz Cheney losing her primary to an election denying moron and the media still trying to rehabilitate her and Adam Kinzinger…let’s all just remember these are not good people…they voted with trump over 90% of the time and continued their attack on voting rights by voting against the restoration of the voting rights act that the supreme court gutted, voted against disclosure of presidential candidate tax returns, voted against the John Lewis voting rights act…and let’s not stop there, they both voted against abortion rights, transgender rights, and they both voted for cutting taxes on the super rich and corporations while trying to get the ACA repealed so that regular Americans would lose their healthcare….and they both never saw a war they didn’t love and were against getting out of Afghanistan even after we were spending money and lives there for 16 years….these are despicable people who only did one thing right…opposing a violent coup from the idiot trump…so, let’s not get too carried away…neither of these people are a “national treasure”..they can be commended for their January 6th committee service but that is a very low bar to get over…it used to be all repubs would have opposed the fascism on the right..but no more..they love them some trump and the permission he has given them to be the worst people they can be….and these two went along until now…geez…
