Well…with the testimony of Col. Alexander Vindman to the house impeachment inquiry yesterday, we now know that the “transcript” of trump’s extortion call to Ukraine’s president had been altered to make it look less incriminating to trump and his cronies….editing out trump’s constant pressure to get Ukraine to investigate the 2016 election interference and the many times he mentioned the Bidens by name. Hey, let’s add this crime to all of the other crimes trump has committed just this year…and add another article of impeachment of obstruction and cover up…hmmm…I wonder who else was guilty of a coverup? Could it be Nixon? Yep…but this coverup is so much worse since it involves our foreign policy being subverted to benefit trump and only trump…while Nixon’s crimes were within our borders…an order of magnitude less in damage to our country. There are still more witnesses testifying all this week to add to the already damning information that has already come out and the dam appears to be breaking on trump’s attempt to use mafia tactics to keep everyone quiet and himself out of jail….I think some of this is patriotism, especially in the case of Col. Vindman, but some of it is just CYA as the rats start to desert trump’s sinking ship…don’t care which as long as trump goes to jail….

This is too damn funny…
Well…even though I’m pretty depressed, there are still small smiles to be had just by watching the news…but not much news, I know that adds to the spiral…just last night, idiot boy trump and his cronies went to game 5 of the World Series to supposedly bask in adulation that he thought would come from some soldiers killing one of the ISIS commanders in Syria….but, I think trump forgot where he was and when his picture was shown on the jumbotron, the entire crowd broke out in boos that were so loud that even an oblivious asshole like trump had to notice….and that was followed by loud chants of “lock him up!” and the look on idiot boy’s face when he realized what was happening is just too damn delicious and has been put on loops on almost every news website on the internet…now, I think the people at that game voiced what many of us in the country feel….and sent a message to the world that we know how ridiculous and criminal trump is and we are trying to do something about him…the wheels of justice move slow but they do move….
After this ruling, trump should just resign…
Well….yesterday, judge Beryl Howell essentially gutted any defense of trump and his cronies stonewalling when she ruled that the impeachment inquiry is entirely legitimate and subpoenas issued carry the full authority of any impeachment proceeding and essentially said that they get anything they ask for…and that by the Constitution, the House set the rules for impeachment and no one else…so the senate has no say and the WH has no say in how impeachment is run. So, that means the entire Mueller report and all underlying materials that Barr has blocked is going to be in the hands of the impeachment investigators….and she made two additional points as to why they should get the material…one, that trump lied to Mueller, and two, then, and now…the WH and trump have attempted to obstruct the investigation. She makes it clear in her ruling that the House committees have every legal right to all of the information they request, but also that trump’s written responses to Mueller were “inadequate and incomplete” and showed he “wasn’t being truthful”….and he failed to provide written answers on his obstruction and of events during the transition…all of which are going to be part of the impeachment charges. She then slaps Barr down on his refusal to provide the Mueller grand jury evidence and his claims that the law bars disclosure to congress of grand jury information with just three words “DOJ is wrong.” Now, Howell made her ruling so strong for the fact that the WH has obstructed previous investigations, by ordering staff into silence and by lying to congress and Mueller. But, the biggest bombshell in the ruling is that, after trumps lawyers basically said to her that trump is immune from any investigation, even if he shot someone on fifth avenue due to the OLC memo from the Watergate era that said a sitting president couldn’t be indicted while in office….but Howell blasted that contention apart with this statement “this OLC legal conclusion has never been adopted, sanctioned, or in any way approved by a court.” So, hanging trump’s entire defense on this memo is a huge stretch for any court…and when it gets to a court, it will be tossed aside as so much legal “theory” that has never been legislated or codified into law. So, hey trump….you are so, so screwed and you should probably resign and try to get your toady Pence to pardon you…oh, wait, Pence is going down with you for his role in the Ukraine extortion…I wonder if president Pelosi will pardon you? Yeah, I wouldn’t hold your breath….
What are they going to do?
Well….you know, I’m getting sick of the pundits trying to tell us in the fair, sane, reality based world what we have to do to make sure that the 40% of Americans who support trump don’t get left behind when we win in 2020….my question is what are THEY going to do to become part of America again…to renounce the hate that they spew every day…to accept that they have been hoodwinked by trump and a republican party that doesn’t give a damn about them and and stop watching fox news and breathe the air of reality for a change? Why do we on the left have any responsibility to them when all they do is hate us and our policies that would benefit them and us and not the rich? I am tired of the media aiding and abetting this un-American bullshit spewed by this 40%….and I am tired of the fact that no one on the right from the top down to the MAGA shits takes any responsibility for their actions…they voted for the idiot trump and lost their jobs due to his stupid trade policies? It must be a conspiracy from the “deep state”…it can’t be that they elected an ignorant moron who really doesn’t know anything. The schools in red states are failing? It can’t be that they voted for repubs who gutted the state budgets to give tax cuts to the rich…it must be that Obama set this up since he hated red states and the people in them. I think that there needs to be some pain involved for these idiots or they will never learn that their actions have consequences…that their hate and racism is what is making people wash their hands of them, not some conspiracy or another…my only concern is the collateral damage that will be done to people who live in red areas who may be conservative but not racist haters….but don’t they have more responsibility for the state of their states and this country than those of us on the left since they voted for idiot boy? I am no longer willing to see any good in any of them or give them the benefit of the doubt until THEY start to show behavior that is worthy of us working with them…until that time, that 40% can just go to hell….
They’re playing it right…
Well…I’m not sure what the stupid repubs thought they were going to accomplish with their stunt of invading a secure space to try to disrupt impeachment testimony yesterday, but it appears that all it did was make them look ridiculous since the testimony they were trying to disrupt happened later yesterday and by all accounts drove another nail in the idiot trump’s coffin. I just loved the reaction to that crap by Pelosi and Schiff…which was to have a press conference saying that plans are forming on their part for the public impeachment hearings…essentially ignoring the repubs who broke house rules. But, I’m sure that Pelosi is not ignoring their unethical behavior and will drop the hammer on them at some point in the future…and as I suggested, it could include losing committee assignments or even censure. The real problem the repubs have is that they have nothing…trump has already admitted to the extortion and no amount of pretzel logic is going to change that…all it is going to do is make the repbs like Lindsey Graham look more and more ridiculous every day and may even cost a few of them in 2020…we can hope….
More obstruction…
Well…with the stunt the repubs pulled today of storming into the secure briefing room where a witness was giving testimony on the Ukraine extortion, all of them should be censured to start with, but then they should all be charged with obstruction of a congressional investigation…and the kicker of the whole thing was that, again, trump was aware of and supporting this crap…and that makes for another article of impeachment and adds to his already ongoing daily obstruction. Now, the repubs are always going on and on that they are the party of national security but every damn one of these idiots that pushed their way into the secure room where they don’t belong since they are not on that committee who is taking the testimony, took his cell phone into the room which is a severe breach of security and IC rules…and now, because these assholes pulled this stunt, the facility has to be swept for bugs to ensure that it is still secure from spying. This is just another incidence where the repubs don’t think any rules or laws apply to them and I think Nancy Pelosi needs to bring the hammer down on all of them…how about taking away all of their committee assignments to start with…we need to stomp on this crap as hard as possible…and do it now…

Well…just sitting here taking the day off of everything, reading some news stories and one that jumped out at me was the release of a “fact sheet” by Nancy Pelosi this morning setting out the broad outlines of the impeachment inquiry that appears to center on the abuse of power relating to the Ukraine extortion…now, I believe this is too narrow…but I understand that with all of the crimes that the idiot trump has committed, Pelosi and Schiff don’t want to make it too complicated for the general public to understand and I defer to their experience. Especially since Schiff is a former prosecutor and Pelosi has shown over and over that she knows how to wield the levers of power in the House…there was one thing that was buried in the sheets was the fact that there is evidence that both Pence and Pompeo were involved in this scheme..and that makes me wonder if there are charges and impeachment in both of those idiot’s future? After all, if trump is being impeached for running this extortion, should Pence be rewarded if trump is removed? It should never happen that a VP is rewarded for doing the same crime as the president…and guess what Pencie? There are real laws you have broken that you can be prosecuted for after you’re out of office…just like idiot boy and I’m sure there are prosecutors out there who are already working on the case….don’t think praying is going to help here you hypocrite christian….I just found a popcorn pumper in the basement here and I think I’m going to wear it out watching the hearings…
trump…the Hague is calling…
Well…just like GW Bush, after trump’s approval of crimes against humanity letting Turkey massacre the Kurds in Syria, the idiot boy is going to be stuck in the US since he will be subject to arrest and prosecution for those crimes if he travels to a country that is a signatory to the UN conventions that compel it…and I’m sure he so damn dumb, as are his advisors, that he didn’t even realize that green lighting genocide was a crime that he could be prosecuted for…and I’ll also bet that none of his cronies even know where the Hague is or what the international court is or what it’s powers are….so now, even if he resigns, no more golf in Scotland…no more Russia trips (although Russia is not going to arrest their favorite patsy) or to almost any other country in the world that are not the “shithole” countries that he hates so much…I guess he’s not going to have to worry about traveling anyway with all of the crimes he’s done here that he will be prosecuted for when he leaves office….but it does make making a run for it much more difficult…couldn’t happen to a bigger asshole….

Well…along with the idiot boy’s meltdown today at a press conference with the PM of Italy…and that one was a real eye opener with the idiot in chief going off an a psychotic rant while the PM just sat there with a bemused look on his face…I just read of a meeting with house leadership and trump at the WH where he verbally attacked Nancy Pelosi, essentially telling her she loved communists and called her a “third rate politician” to her face…now, we all know that trump is one of the dumbest people on the face of the Earth, but to attack the one person who controls the impeachment process that is going to rid the country of you? That is just so damn dumb as to be pathetic…and Nancy’s comment was just delicious…”what we witnessed on the part of the president was a meltdown…” and that will goad the moron into even more psychotic behavior…people at the meeting described trump as being “genuinely pissed off” and red in the face and noted that no one could communicate with him in that state. So, repubs…you own this mess…what are going to do to fix it and make trump go away? Nothing probably…but that means you are going away in 2020….and good riddance…
It only took four…
Well…with all of the people that the house committees investigating trump’s Ukraine extortion want to talk to and who are going to talk over the next week or so, it only took the first four to prove that trump and his cronies committed multiple crimes in trying to get Ukraine officials to lie about Hunter and Joe Biden. Since the ex US ambassador testified last Friday, and with the three since then, all have told the same story…that Rudy, Mulvaney, Pompeo, Pence, and Barr all were involved in the scheme that was fought hard by career diplomats who all knew that what they were doing was not only illegal, but that would damage the US standing in the world by showing that trump and his cronies were just as corrupt as anyone in the Ukraine…or anywhere else in the world, and with them in charge the US could no longer be trusted. That is where the huge problem is…and with idiot boy’s unfathomable abandoning of our Kurdish allies in Syria, no one in their right mind can ever trust a thing that trump says or does…that right there is as impeachable an offense as you can possibly commit….and yet he just keeps on criming every day..and the repubs continue to support the flushing of our honor just to get a few more judges approved….every damn one of them needs to be held accountable…not just voting them out but holding them criminally responsible for being part of this conspiracy…one thing that I want to hear is a pledge from every one of our candidates that none of these criminals will be pardoned if they are elected….life in prison is too good for them….
