Well…with all of the stonewalling by the trump crime family that includes Bill Barr, the crap is going to hit the fan this morning with contempt of congress citations for Bill Barr and Don McGahn being presented to congress for a vote scheduled for tomorrow for their refusal to comply with legal subpoenas to turn over the unredacted Mueller report in Barr’s case, and to show up for testimony in McGahn’s case. With a change to rules that happened last week, the chairman, Jerry Nadler, can then go straight to the courts to force them to follow the law and may even knock down the rest of of the cases of stonewalling that trump and his cronies were hoping would delay the inevitable compliance with the House’s legal right to those people and that information. Oh…I get it now…that’s what the whole Mexican tariff thing was about…to distract from what is going to be a huge loss to trump this week and he was trying to crowd it out of the news cycle…what a predictable, sorry excuse for a human….impeach…

Forget about trump’s base…
Well…look…all of the hand wringing about motivating trump’s base by impeaching the idiot boy is bullshit…and even thinking about that and having it dictate our actions is even a bigger pile of bullshit….nothing, and I mean nothing that the dems do is ever going to have any damn effect on that cult of personality and hate so I say just ignore them and do what’s right for the country and for protection of the constitution…that means that impeachment has to be on the table now and forever until the criminal in chief is safely ensconsed in his cell at club fed. After the early reticence of our leaders in congress to even put impeachment on the table, it appears that most of them have had enough of the obstruction and defiance that idiot boy has shown at every turn and Nancy Pelosi is now building the impeachment case against the whole damn lot of them including Mnuchin, trump and Barr that will convince any court that they are criminals committing criminal acts every day….a smart bit of strategy that may be taking longer than we want but will give an airtight case for removal of the lot of them….let’s just have a little patience…but just a little…impeach…
This can’t stand…
Well…when did criminals get to say what evidence against them can be seen by prosecutors? Just this morning, trump and his criminal minions asserted a non-existent executive privilege to keep the congress from seeing the entire Mueller report, adding to his obstruction and turning it into a full-blown coverup that is being run by his toady AG William Barr…now it’s the time for Nancy Pelosi to step up and say that this can’t stand and start impeachment proceedings against idiot boy…if you discard all of the Mueller report, this action by itself is the “high crimes and misdemeanors” necessary to start the investigation process which gives the House broad powers to access anything they want…and this has been upheld by every court in the land since the country was founded. It appears that the dems are starting to grow a spine with the vote to hold Barr in contempt of congress this morning but that is not enough…Mnuchin and all of the rest who are part of this conspiracy need to be hauled in front of congress and charged with breaking the law and that includes Barr….the very existence of our democracy hangs in the balance and the dems need to stop thinking of the political fallout of impeachment since there may be no country left if they don’t get moving…impeach…

Well…with William Barr’s testimony to the Senate yesterday that was filled with lies, half truths and obstruction…even the normally circumspect Nancy Pelosi stated that he committed a crime with his lies, as did every dem that had to listen to his bullshit about his behavior with the Mueller report…and there is a chorus in the country calling for this liars resignation. That was before he blew off the House today where he was scheduled to undergo questioning by staff lawyers about the obvious lies he told even before he lied to the Senate yesterday….and that Senate testimony would be a road map for the House to get to the truth…but, Barr is so terrified of being exposed as the perjurer that he is that he is using the excuse that the House doesn’t have the authority to use lawyers to question him, it can only be done by the members themselves…I got news for you Billy, the co-equal legislative branch sets their own rules on testimony, and the executive branch has not one damn thing to say about it…you don’t get to blackmail the House by saying you won’t show up unless they conduct the hearing your way….in fact you will be held in contempt of congress and prosecuted if you don’t show…and that is where we are today…Barr blew off the House and now the vote to hold him in contempt is going to happen this afternoon…and guess what, Billy, you can be arrested if you don’t show up and held in custody until you do testify….is this what you envisioned when you decided to join the trump crime family? Oh, that’s right, you were already one of the slimiest operators in DC even before you begged trump to hire you…now, I just hope that Nadler and Pelosi follow through and restore the rule of law…and make this ass pay for his part is destroying this country…impeach…
Dead man walking…
Well…one of the things that happen when I get up too damn early is that I have time to fill before I can get on the weight machine and not wake up the neighbors…and I just needed to comment on the fact that William Barr was shown to be a huge liar last night on every news show…last night, it was revealed that Mueller sent Barr a scathing letter on March 27th saying that he misrepresented the findings that Mueller put in the report and in no way shape or form did he say what Barr said he did in his “summaries” or in his lie filled press conference. Mueller then followed the letter up with a 20 minute phone call to Barr to discuss what was in the letter…and that is a huge problem for Barr since he went in front of congress on April 10th and lied his ass off that he didn’t know what Mueller thought about Barr’s shenanigans with the releasing of the report and his misrepresentations of what Mueller’s conclusions were. This is a clear case of obstruction of justice and perjury by Barr and the calls for his resignation are coming more and more as time goes on…I guess my question is: don’t any of these morons know that they would be found to be lying? That there is tape of them testifying and it can’t be explained away by bullshit and bluster? This makes Barr a dead man walking and impeachment proceedings should be started if he doesn’t resign today…impeach…
Now we’ll see how corrupt the Justice Department has become…
Well…with the blatant, open corruption that is being led by William Barr at the Justice Department on a daily basis, we now are going to have the chance to see just how corrupt it has become…just this morning, Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence committee, said he plans to make a criminal referral to the DOJ about Erik Prince’s testimony to the committee since the evidence shows that Prince lied to the committee about his meeting with the Russians in the Seychelle Islands…saying that the meeting with a Russian banker was just a “chance encounter” but Mueller evidence shows that there was preparation for the meeting with a set agenda that dealt with “improving” US and Russian relations. So, just another idiot in the trump orbit trying to work with the Russians and then lying about it to congress but with the new twist that trump now has his personal “fixer” in Barr who will find many, many bogus reasons to not bring these clear charges of perjury…and by this action, the Justice department loses a little more credibility that the dems will have to step in and fix when trump and his minions are gone…impeach…
Still just damn exhausted…
Well…I am not sure what is going on but even after taking a nap this afternoon, I am still damn exhausted and I’m not sure at all why…oh, well…I really was going to do one on politics this afternoon but I am not motivated to do it…I think I’m in overload after the Mueller report and the 24/7 reporting on that….one little bit of detail that has come out is that Mueller ended his report after Barr was appointed since he knew that Barr was there to protect trump and he knew that no other prosecutions would be approved…and that was another reason why Mueller didn’t indict trump for obstruction of justice…with Barr now supervising, there would be no independence for the independent counsel, just Barr breaking his oath to protect the constitution and doing nothing but protecting trump. I am looking forward to Mueller coming in front of congress next month where he’ll get the chance to expose Barr’s interference in his work and make it clear once and for all that trump is a criminal who needs to go…impeach…oh, hey, I guess I did have a political one in me…yay…
A couple of things we now know…
Well…with the redacted Barr report being released this morning, we know a couple of things…that the Mueller report does not “exonerate” the idiot trump at all…not on collusion with the Russians or with the issue of obstruction of justice as Barr would have the country think by his lie filled press conference before the report was released. We do know that Barr is now complicit in the coverup of trump’s criminality and should be removed from his post or resign before he does more damage to the Justice Department…does he not know that people are going to read the report and see how he was lying his ass of this morning? We also know that Mueller followed the rules that a sitting president can’t be indicted and that is why there were no indictments of trump…not that there was not enough evidence to charge him but that he was only following the rules…one little tidbit that was exposed from the report is that the evidence of trump’s criminality is being preserved for further action after idiot boy is out of office…and that there are still 12 or more investigations related to the report that are still ongoing that may lead to charges being filed. Let’s be clear on one point here, that the Russians DID work to elect trump…and no matter how much the repub bleaters still try to say that it’s just “sour grapes” that the dems have focused on that point…not that we care about our country but just sour grapes. I do have more to talk about, but I need to digest some of this new info to make a lucid comment…but, cripes…trump is a criminal…that much is clear….impeach…
This is interesting…
Well…since it has now become clear that William Barr sees his job as protecting the idiot president versus upholding the law, there have been some interesting developments in a case that was brought before a judge by a news organization using FOIA to get the entire Mueller report…now, this judge didn’t rule that he will order the report to be released, but he did say that he is going to look at the entire report to see if the redactions done by Barr and his team of lawbreakers are really necessary…and he has also said that he finds the fact that Barr is muddying the waters around the report “troubling” and has telegraphed the he doesn’t think Barr is following the law or legal precedent in the case. So, on this front, Barr is losing the fight to keep the damaging parts of the report secret, just as he did when he tried this crap before while he argued that kidnapping foreign nationals was supported by a “secret” report that he “summarized”…sound familiar? Just this morning, Jerry Nadler, the chair of the Judiciary committee in the House, has signaled that he has had enough of Barr’s crap and is preparing a subpoena for the entire Mueller report and all of the supporting materials that will be delivered to Barr Friday which means it should end up in court by the early part of next week when Barr refuses to follow the law and honor it. I wonder if Barr is so dumb that he doesn’t see that he has fallen into the trump mire and is opening himself up to contempt of congress charges at least, and obstruction of justice charges if the congress wants to play hardball…which they should to protect the rule of law. So, the next few days are going to be interesting but I don’t think the bastardized Barr report is going to show anything when it is released tomorrow…we’ll see…impeach…
Still thinking…
Well…it has been kind of a busy day today with cooking my 16 pound turkey for lunch and then getting out on the bike (in shorts) for a ride before I came back here…the problem is that I’m still thinking about a topic right now and haven’t been able to figure one out. So, let’s just start and see what happens…idiot boy trump is in meltdown mode today after it was announced on his teevee that the Barr report is going to be issued Thursday…you notice I didn’t say the Mueller report since it no longer is Mueller’s after Barr edited it to protect trump…and it was revealed that Barr misled the congress at least once before to justify for his bosses at the DOJ that the kidnapping of foreign nationals without the permission of the country where they lived was just peachy…and then they proceeded to grab Manuel Noriega and bring to the US…the only problem was that his “summary” in that case was misleading, according to the congressional committee who had to subpoena that background info that Barr used to write his opinion…and once misleading, always misleading when it comes to Barr…and it looks like another subpoena is going to be necessary to get the Mueller report and it’s background material…so, Barr has been a partisan hack since at least 1989…surprise, surprise…impeach…
