Well…as you know, I haven’t been feeling too well today and that kept me off the bike and led to me having some extra time to read the news…sometimes that’s a good thing, sometimes it isn’t. Just now, it was a really good, funny thing that left me laughing at just how pathetic the whiny conservatives are. In DC, where there are a lot of single people trying to date, conservative men have been surprised that they are having a hard time finding women who will go out with them…and, I wonder why? Could it be that they are racist, misogynist assholes who support trump and the rest of the troglodytes in the repub party? Could it be that they support the government telling women what they can and cannot do with their bodies? Could it be that they have no problem giving billions of dollars of tax cuts to the rich while working people get nothing? Could it be that they support taking healthcare away from millions of their fellow citizens? To hear conservatives talk, it is just so unfair to them that once women they want to date find out they are conservatives assholes, that the women run the other way as fast as they can…poor little snowflakes…hey, why don’t you try not being a conservative asshole? Why don’t you try being a human being sometime? I’ve found in my long lifetime that having some empathy and not hating everyone who is not like you goes a long way to having people want to spend time with you….even women at times….maybe this is natural selection at work…and will help kill off the asshole conservative population by not allowing them to reproduce? Hope so…geez…

Under the radar….
Well…with the Nunberg meltdown that took all of the oxygen out of the news media yesterday, one little story flew under the radar that is just more evidence of Russian meddling in our country and the fact that the idiot trump is not doing anything about it. This story would be shocking in any other “administration”, but with all of the scandal and cronyism coming out of the WH, it has not gotten the attention it deserves….yesterday it was reported that Christopher Steele told Bob Mueller that his contacts in Russia have told him that Russia intervened when the idiot trump wanted Mitt Romney as his Secretary of State since Romney is a noted hawk on Russia and would ensure that the sanctions on Russia were not lifted. So, who did we get when the Russians vetoed Romney? Rex Tillerson who Putin awarded the Russian Order of Friendship to for his collaboration with the Russians when he was the head of Exxon/Mobil…and someone who has so many connections to Russia that Putin thought he would be easily manipulated to support removing sanctions. Is this treason, finally? How about it repubs…are you going to do anything now when the idiot in the WH is clearly doing Russia’s bidding? What a traitorous bunch…impeach….
March 6th
Well….at least I now know I’ve got a bug of some sort…sitting here warm and freezing at the same time and I have been coughing since I got up…but, here’s the weird thing…I felt worse yesterday morning and that’s not how it’s supposed to work…I barely got through the day yesterday with the lack of energy…oh, and I think we tied at pool but I really don’t remember…didn’t work out or ride the bike yesterday but I’ll need to do better today…probably won’t ride the bike since there is snow out there this morning…don’t think there is enough to make the trail impassable but I’d have to go out in full thermasuit and I just don’t want to do that….we’ll see later….I do need to clean some around here today but it is one of those days where I am just going to take it easy to start and see how I feel….more later….
What a meltdown…
Well…haven’t been feeling that hot this afternoon and I thought I wouldn’t be back for a second one…but, this was just too damn delicious to pass up. This afternoon, one of the idiot trump’s campaign aides, Sam Nunberg, went into a total meltdown on every news channel there is today in response to a grand jury subpoena that was served on him by Mueller, saying that he wouldn’t turn over the e-mails and texts to and from others on the campaign and wouldn’t even show up for his meeting on Friday…basically daring Mueller to arrest him. In the multi show meltdown, there was one nugget that came out that I’ll bet has the WH crapping themselves today…talking to Jake Tapper, Nunberg said that trump knew about the meeting in trump tower with Russian spies and talked about it a week before it happened…now, I’m not sure how much you can trust someone who has clearly gone over the edge, but, if true, this will just add to the obstruction of justice evidence that Mueller already has on idiot boy…can’t wait to hear Rachel tonight…this should be fun….impeach…
March 5th
Well…feel pretty crappy this morning and I don’t think all of it is not being good last night….part of it is not eating enough and I’ll need to adjust that as I get out on the bike every day….but it looks like I won’t be out on it again until later in the week with the blast of cold weather that is coming over the next few days….it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done but the bike ride…and today looks the same with pool this aft….just have no energy and the coffee isn’t working yet so I think I’ll just take it easy until it’s time to work out…..okay, that was a little out of synch…just like I feel right now…so, I think I’ll just go and read some news for a while…more later….
Brutal…
Well…as you can see, I’m taking the weekend off from political stuff to just let my brain rest a little…but, that doesn’t mean I can skip these and not feel guilty…so, how about a bike update? The ride today was just brutal, the wind was blowing out of the East at about 20 and that made the first 3 mile leg out just frickin brutal…and the last hill is into the wind, too, so I was just drained when I got back here….I think I have the bike zeroed in after 3 rides…got the seat set at the right height today and got the fine tuning for the shifters set so I can get the gear I want when I want it, and along with adjusting the brakes to the feel I want, I think it’s ready to just ride some…I really do like the new bike a lot and I feel good that I picked another good one….the ride is just so smooth and I can bomb around without flinching when I hit bumps like I did on the Schwinn…even started a little of that today but with the wind so strong, it’s hard to get into any kind of a rhythm, especially when it gusts to over 30…but one good thing is that I can eat again with being on the bike every day…going to even have an olive burger for dinner today….and maybe even a snack later….
March 4th
Well….it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….slept okay last night but my back is stuck again and it hurts so I’m not sure how much I’ll get done today…I am going to clean some and do some laundry but that is about it….I did get a nice bike ride in but the wind was blowing like crazy again and I was thinking that it would be nice if it would get warmer and have a calm day for a change…waiting to get out on the bike is a pain but it looks like that will be the weather for the next two weeks…I get a little antsy waiting for spring to come…but, this winter hasn’t been a bad one compared to last year where I couldn’t get out to ride until the third week of April…by that time I should have 3 or 4 hundred miles on already this year….not much to do today…it looks like an easy morning since it will be too cold to get on the bike until after noon and I don’t feel like doing much right now…more later…
March 3rd
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I’m not sure why my lungs are crappy today….have been coughing since I got up and I don’t feel that hot so I may have to take it easy today….I did get out on the bike for two rides yesterday and I really like the new bike…really comfortable and I love having brakes again…I do have to remember that my legs and lungs are not back to summer fitness yet and not to overdo it….didn’t get a lot done yesterday other than the bike ride…cripes, just had to sit here and think for a minute what day it is….oh, well….I do need to get a few things done today…some cleaning and have a ham that I am going to cook for lunch….it’s nice that I can finally not feel guilty about eating more than one meal a day with being back on the bike…but, it looks like I’ll have to wait until this aft to get out since it is really cold this morning…and I just don’t want to be cold right now…not much to do today….just can’t get going right now so I guess the cleaning will have to wait until I have more coffee….more later….
Watch out…he’s gonna blow!
Well…just sitting here reading the news and, with all of the scandals that are quickly closing in on the idiot trump, the title of this one just popped into my head..”watch out, he’s gonna blow”. It is well reported today that idiot boy became “unglued” when Hope Hicks resigned and that was preceded by another blowup when he heard that she was talking to Mueller…and now, who does the idiot have to talk to who doesn’t think he’s a moron? More telling evidence that the pressure gauge is almost maxed out was the twitter rant he went on this morning attacking Alec Baldwin that was full of spelling errors and that was erased 10 minutes later…I guess one of the staff took his phone away for a few minutes….now, I normally don’t wish ill on anyone…I’m more of live and let live kind of person…but, with the idiot boy, I hope he goes into full meltdown mode soon…the country can’t take much more of his venality and stupidity…and I hope he takes all of the repubs with him….impeach….

Well….as the repub tax scam’s effects continue to be reported by the press, a little noted news item from yesterday really rams home how unfair it really is…and I am going to make this a little personal. It was reported that Amazon is not going to pay a penny in taxes on income of over 5.6 billion dollars….yep, not one damn dime on 5.6 billion dollars in income…isn’t that wrong? Isn’t it wrong that all of you reading this are going to have to pay taxes and Amazon doesn’t? We all know that the tax code is slanted to favor the rich and business, but this latest cut, passed by repubs, makes that slant even higher, allowing many companies in this country to not pay anything…wouldn’t it be nice if some of that “trickled down” to you and me? I guess I shouldn’t bitch too much since Amazon and I paid the same amount of taxes to the feds this year…but, I paid some to Michigan so my taxes were higher than Amazon’s this year…isn’t that wrong? Yep….geez…
