Well…when I watched Ted Cruz’s antics during Justice Jackson’s confirmation hearing, I thought it was just ted being ted…the racist ass that he is who thinks he is the smartest guy in the room…and then to see him get up and basically run out of the senate chamber as the dems applauded the new SC justice…it hit me that I know why he did it…the fact that Justice Jackson was a classmate at Harvard and she is on the supreme court must gall the hell out of him since he knows he will never be…and will never be as accomplished as she is or as respected…and I’m sure that is just boiling his ass as he shrinks away into the screeching baboon that he is….what a small, rotten little soul resides inside that ugly husk…too bad teddy….

The party of Putin…
Well…you know, I’m pretty confused about how the heck the repub party turned into the party of Putin over the past few years…from the idiot trump’s kissing his ass and aiding him in trying to bring down the Ukraine, to the 68 repubs in the house who just his week voted against supporting NATO and the collecting of evidence of war crimes that Russian soldiers are committing there, what the heck is going on? It can’t be that it is just the hatred of anything dem that is motivating these traitors, so what is it? I did read an article the other day that said that the repub support of Putin is just another facet of the party’s hard swing to the right we’ve seen since the idiot trump made it okay to be a traitor, a racist, and a genuine asshole to anyone…and modeled the Putin ass kissing that the entire party seems to do now. When I was younger, the repubs had one thing they were known for and that was to be against the Soviet Union and it’s meddling in the world but now they seem to like it since it “owns the libs” and pisses us that are in the right off…is that their only reason for treason? Yeah, that one was a little cute but does describe what these idiots are doing…and still, no one holds them accountable because mcconnell and mccarthy are just drooling for power and don’t care how they get it…geez…
Other reasons to like Jackson…
Well…with the certain elevation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the supreme court, it is right to tout here as the first African American woman to become a supreme court justice, and I am pretty excited for just that fact…but, to me, one of the major other reasons to like here and look forward to seeing her on the court is that she is not an inexperienced, ideological hack like the last three justice installed by the repubs who only brought ideology and nothing more…she is a real judge who was not pushed by the federalist society and the millions in dark money that got Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch installed there with the corrupt help of mcconnell. She is someone who takes the job seriously and is not there to just get unpopular right wing wish lists imposed on the people of the US that they can’t get through legislation….I, for one, look forward to reading some of her opinions since they will be from a serious person who reveres the law and will rule accordingly…can’t wait…
Looking for a topic….
Well…you would think that after doing almost 10,000 of these, the process of finding a topic for the day would be pretty easy…but, you’d be wrong…at least for me…I will say that I haven’t had time to read the news today with the long grocery run and the straight into doing the bedroom window…so, I’m trying to do that now…and I’ll be back in a minute after I take a look…okay, so here’s one…the illegitimate supreme court today ruled for red states suing the government that the clean water act is unconstitutional since the regulations were not made by law but by the EPA who was given the regulatory power by the Clean water act…a law….so now I guess unless every damn possible thing that could happen is in a law, it’s unconstitutional? Hmmmm…I guess this means that in any red states because Joe’s industrial waste company is not specified in a law, he is free to pollute and dump his waste anywhere….and anyone who pumps septic tanks is free to spread that waste anywhere…even in front of the SC justices houses…hint, hint? Is that right? And the corrupt right wing judges who made all this possible did it with a loophole in the process so they don’t even have to write down their reasoning…just say “unconstitutional” and magically the duly passed laws of congress go poof and are no longer laws….and you ask if the court is corrupt…it sure is…geez….
What are you waiting for dems?
Well…with the failure of the racist repubs in the senate to block Judge Jackson’s elevation to the supreme court that will happen later in the week, these same assholes have started to say the quiet thing out loud, that they will never allow another dem president to put another justice on the supreme court. This is not how it is supposed to work as these same hypocrites say that Jackson is qualified but her “ideology” is what they are voting against….and with that the repubs abandon the idea that has been one guiding principle in elevating judges to the supreme court, that they are there to rule on the law using precedent and sound legal reasoning without an agenda or ideology…but with the all of the repub appointed justices, it is clear that the repubs are okay with ideology influencing the court’s decisions if it is right wing ideology…and the blunt fact is that their use of ideology is just a substitute for race since the repub party is filled with racists and they just hate the idea of having a black woman judge telling them what to do. So now, with the admission that the repubs will not do their job and approve dem justices to the SC when they are nominated, the dems need to get on expanding the court right now to take the incentive away for this obstruction…after all, if there is no reward for being the assholes they are, maybe they will be less of one…yeah, I know, have you seen these guys? They just love being assholes and don’t need any incentive…geez…
Tucker is at it again….
Well…yeah, I really expected this from that little asshole…after the entire world has seen and recognized the war crimes that the Russians are committing in Ukraine, Tucker goes on anther show on fox this morning to still continue to make excuses for Putin and the Russians saying that the pictures of the dead and the mass graves and the eyewitness accounts of the crimes are all fake and posed by the Ukrainians….and he justifies this bit of assholery by saying “I’m just asking questions…why can’t I ask questions?” Look, asshole, just because you and you right wing asshole cronies would do something like stage a war crime…or have your president blackmail the Ukrainians into faking dirt on Biden, it doesn’t mean that the rest of the world would do it…I mean every damn country including the US has seen the evidence and called it war crimes…but your and the repubs sweet, sweet Russian support will go away if you don’t act like the toady you are and give Putin and the murderous monster Russian army cover for these crimes…I have one question to ask you, moron…how the hell do you sleep at night? Okay, you have no shame or compassion so it’s probably pretty easy for an asshole like you….you need to be fired…and today…geez…

Well…sitting here watching a Roger Waters concert and the good that he is trying to do through his music, and that took me to the asshole Johnny VanZant, who reformed LS after Ronnie was killed in a plane crash in 1977…and they were nothing more than mediocre after that…and now he is writing songs to support Ron DeSantis of Florida and his hatred of the LGBTQ community…and he goes on and on and one how great ole Ron is….the typical fascist crap and you can bet this moron is a maga asshole, too….so, as of today, Lynyrd Skynyrd is dead to me…and anyone who thinks that ole ronnie is the new savior of the US as Johnny does can go right to hell with him….

Well…I wonder when business is going to get a damn clue that the repubs are not the party of business anymore? After Disney objected to the hatred that DeSantis and his cronies in Florida passed in the “don’t say gay” bill that the Florida idiot signed last week, almost every damn repub across the country along with all of the personalities on fox news have started to threaten Disney and almost every damn business they don’t like with retaliation for them speaking out against the hate. Now, it’s always been okay for business to keep the cash flowing to the repubs and it is perfectly fine with them if they support their racist, homophobic hate, but if they do anything to be inclusive and to say that “hey, maybe it’s not a good idea to hate on Americans”…that is the last straw and the fascists in the repub party threaten to ruin them. So, I have suggestion for business in this country…come over to our side where we don’t retaliate against opinions that differ from ours…now, I will say that hate, homophobia, misogyny, and criminal behavior is not acceptable to us, but we will listen and try to make the US a better place for all Americans…not just the white, straight ones that the repubs think are the only people that deserve to live their lives…and guess what? I’ll bet a lot of these people are your customers or are like me who is and old white, straight guy who thinks that everyone should have the same rights to aspire to happiness…not just the chosen few that the repubs favor…and it’s a lot easier over here…no crazies spouting Q bullshit all day….so, come on over…the water’s fine….
Irony is alive and well in NY..
Well…just a short one on a bit of good news that happened today on Staten Island in NY…an Amazon warehouse workforce voted to approve a union and it is the first one that Amazon hasn’t been able to lie, cheat, and steal to prevent…and the delicious bit of irony is the union organizer was a former worker that was fired for promoting the union…which is really against the law but Amazon got away with it somehow…okay, we know how…payoffs and millions of dollars to professional union busters that come in and lie to and threaten the workers with the bad things that will happen to them if they vote for the union…and with the record of abuse that Amazon piles on it’s workers, it is easy to understand why it would scare the workers into voting against the union. But, not this time….and it is a brand new union that Amazon is going to have to negotiate with as they try to make Amazon pay a living wage and actually adhere to the labor laws that they regularly ignore or break. So, congrats Amazon union… good job and let’s hope it’s just the start…after all, Jeff Bezos can surely afford to compensate his workers fairly…but, as we see with all these billionaire assholes, they are not happy until they have all the money that they make on the backs of their workers…oh, and one last thing…a quote from the organizer, Chris Smalls…”we want to thank Jeff Bezos for going into space, because while he was up there we were organizing a union”….a good bit of shade there…
