Well…have been busier than crap this morning trying to get quotes on new car insurance but I found out the big rate rise was because I enrolled in Medicare…and that sucks…but that’s not what this is about…there is so much going on in the country right now that my head just swims and that make it harder to pick a topic and make a lucid comment on it…so, I think this one will be just a few short hits on things that have happened lately…starting with the Manafort trial, the defense rested today without calling any witnesses since I’m sure they realized that their client is sunk and will be found guilty on all charges..they did try to make the argument (that happens in every trial) that the prosecution didn’t make the case for Manafort being guilty but the judge stopped that right away and refused the motion…so now, we move on to closing arguments and then to the jury which means we may see a verdict by the end of the week…I wonder how the idiot trump will react when little Paulie is found guilty and is sentenced to 20 plus years in jail…and this is just the first trial…the second one starts next month and could lead to an additional 20+ years in the slam….and, I know I’ve mentioned this before but all of the things that Manfort did was the standard operating procedure for trump and his minions…so he has to be sweating it or he is so delusional that he thinks he is going to get away with it…I’d vote for delusional after reading about his speeches over the past few days….impeach…

A perjury trap?
Well…hey, the idiot trump’s apologists have rolled out the latest reason why they don’t want him to talk to Mueller and it is head-shakingly bad as you can expect from the bottom feeder attorneys that infest the WH. The latest bleating from noun, verb, 911 Rudy is that Mueller is being unethical by asking trump to sit down and testify under oath…citing that it is a “perjury trap” that Mueller will use to prosecute the liar in chief. Yeah, just on thing about that…you can only get caught in a “perjury trap” if you lie…and, by any objective measure, trump is the biggest damn liar to ever infest our government…with the count up to over 4,000 since he was installed by Putin. This is just the latest in the trial balloons that have been launched by these idiots to try to protect the idiot in chief…and this one won’t work, either….Mueller is building a case against the orange idiot that certainly doesn’t need a “perjury trap” to be effective and put trump in jail for the rest of his life….he probably doesn’t even need trump to testify….he has him on money laundering from his real estate deals and probably on tax evasion, too…so let’s just forget the hype about perjury….Mueller doesn’t need it to bring down trump and his crime family…impeach….

Well…as you remember back when the great repub tax scam was being rammed through congress without any scoring by the CBO, I told you that the reason the repubs were using to sell it, that it would raise wages for workers, was just a blatant lie…the only thing that was going to happen was the rich were going to get much, much richer and the deficit was going to explode…I think you can guess where this is going…yep, real wages that people like you and I earn have fallen almost a half percent in the past year…and the sick thing is that people are working longer hours and their wages are still less than they were last year…so the hourly rate has dropped and people can’t even make up for it by working more hours. Every damn bit of the rise in productivity, and every damn bit of the tax cuts went to the 1%…again, while the 99% of us that have worked for a living are being left even farther behind….I don’t think this is an accident, I think this is the direct result of the repub war on workers that they have been pushing for the past 40 years and they are sitting in their congressional offices rubbing their hands with glee that they have been able to lie, cheat, and steal to reward their rich donors…and they know the ignorant asses that elected them won’t ever catch on since not a bit of this appears on fox news….that makes this fall’s election even more important than normal…we need to take the house and senate back to start to repair the damage the repubs have done to this country….tired of all the winning yet MAGA folks? impeach….

Well…getting ready to watch the first Man U match but thought I’d come here and do a shorty first….I can’t believe how unpatriotic every damn person in the repub party is…and the latest is just more of those revelations that show the true, terrible people they are. Just a few days back, it was reported that Betsy DeVos has her 40 million dollar yacht registered in a foreign country to avoid paying the entry fees and other taxes that would accrue if it was registered in the US. This shenanigan allows them to not pay any payroll taxes for the crew, either…and that is just like the rich assholes that infest this country right now…they never pay their share like the rest of us do…they are the real “takers” in this country….the worst people ever….
Lawless republicans…
Well….the swamp keeps getting deeper and deeper with the lawless repubs finding more and more ways to show that they don’t give a damn about the laws of this country. Over the past decade, almost every damn day, there is another instance of repubs thinking that the laws of this country don’t apply to them…only to the little people like you and me. The latest comes from one of trump’s biggest supporters in the House, Chris Collins, a NY rep, was just indicted along with his son and his son’s father in law for insider trading where they used information that Collins got as part of his rep position to short sell an Australian pharma company whose new drug for MS failed in clinical trials…this was done before the information became public and saved them almost 800,000 dollars that they would have lost when the stock tanked. Collins and his family were not the only ones who benefited from this insider trading…there were a half dozen other repub reps that were in on the scheme that haven’t been charged yet…and the sick thing is that the lawbreaking phone call to Collin’s son came from the WH lawn, showing that the repub bleatings about respect for the US and it’s institutions are just BS that they spout to get the rubes to vote for them. Is every damn repub in this government a criminal? It sure looks like it….impeach…
A little politics…
Well…after yesterday’s election, I thought it would be an idea to talk a little about that before I get on to the rest of the day…first up, in the Michigan governor’s race, Gretchen Whitmer won the dem primary over Abdul and Tanedar…could have voted for Abdul with his record of progressive ideas but never for Tanedar…he contributed to Ted Cruz in the 2016 election and is a dem in name only…and he had a bunch of shady deals in his past and we don’t need compromised candidates on our side. Whitmer is up over the repub by 7-8 points in the latest poll and will be our best chance of taking the governor’s office back from the repubs…and I hope we can take one of the houses back here too, and start to repair the damage that Snyder and his cronies have done over the past 8 years. One of the big happenings in Missouri was the passing of proposal A that reversed the repubs attacks on working people by repealing their right to work for less law there…the only purpose of those laws are to attack working people and the unions that made the middle class and I think people are catching on…I hope they try that here, too…I would surely vote to keep the freeloading repubs from hurting unions….last, there was the tussle in Ohio 12 where the dem is still in the running pending the counting of provisional ballots there…this in a district that went for trump by 11 point in ’16 and that the repubs had to pour millions into to basically get a draw…at last count, the repubs outspent the dems by 5-1 and only lead by .7%…so it looks like we have a great chance to take the house this fall…and to start doing the repair work that we dems always have to do after the repubs screw everything up….geez.;…
They really are toxic and it’s spreading…
Well…I know we throw the word toxic around a lot when talking about the idiot trump’s administration…and there is no doubt it is toxic…but now, with new rules just listed by the EPA, that toxicity is going to spread across the US. Just a few days ago, in response to one of trump’s cronies request, the EPA has just said that using asbestos in building supplies is just hunky dory again…never mind that asbestos is one of the most deadly minerals ever mined and almost everyone who comes into contact with it gets mesothelioma that kills them, profit to his cronies is much more important that the lives of US citizens…as you have seen by earlier rule changes at the EPA that are going to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans with the increases of pollution that the EPA is now allowing. So now, the wonders of asbestos are going to inflicted on another generation of Americans just so the rich can get richer..it’s just frickin immoral…but that is the description of trump….impeach…

Well…sitting here trying to get some coffee down and this little thought just popped into my head…donnie jr. has a problem now that his idiot father has admitted that the trump tower meeting was to get “dirt” on Hillary…the little idiot went in front of congress and lied that the meeting was about “adoptions”…now, we know that the repubs won’t do a damn thing about it since they spend most of their time covering for the most lawless administration in the history of the US….but, November is coming and, after the election, he can be referred to the justice department and charges of lying to congress can be pressed….so, it does look like everyone that has been part of this debacle will go to jail…and it can’t happen soon enough…impeach…

Well….I am just shaking my head at this one…this morning the idiot came right out and admitted that donnie jr. met in trump tower with Russian agents to get dirt on Hillary…and I’m sure he thinks that just saying that “it’s totally legal and done all the time” will protect him and his demon spawn from Mueller. Yeah, idiot…it’s illegal to take help from any foreign entity to further your campaign….and the dirt on Hillary has value so..yeah, everyone that was there broke the law and then your idiot son called you and told you about it a half hour after the meeting was over…so, you knew about it, too. Now you can see the type of person trump is, willing to throw his own son under the bus to keep Mueller from getting to him…got news for you, idiot…Mueller has all the phone records and your phone number is on it from when little donnie called you…god, can anyone be any dumber than trump? Nope….impeach…
The idiot trump is witness tampering again…
Well…if you’ve been here before, and I hope you have, you’ve heard me impugn the intelligence of the idiot boy many, many times with good reason….and today, in plain sight, trump is witness tampering again. Just today, Hope Hicks was seen getting on trump’s plane for the ride to Ohio where the idiot is holding another “rally”, supposedly to support some candidate for a house seat that appears to be slipping away from the repubs in a bright, red area…but, you know he probably doesn’t even know the name of the person he is supposed to be supporting. Back to the witness tampering….trump has been warned that he can’t talk to a federal witness in the case against him…Hope Hicks in particular, but does the idiot listen? Nope…and I am just shaking my head…it appears that trump is either the dumbest person on the Earth, or he is trying to get thrown out of office…. with this little plane ride, the obstruction of justice evidence against him has gotten stronger and it just made things a lot easier for Mueller…keep it up, donnie…you are going to spend the rest of your life in jail after you’re thrown out of office…and I couldn’t be happier…impeach…
Oh, and Hicks is not too bright to get on that plane, either…it opens her up to obstruction and conspiracy to obstruct charges…geez…what a bunch of idiots…
