Well…just a short one to comment on an article that I just read online that was a little surprising…but, not really given the climate for workers in the US. When they did a study of the money cost of crime in the US, robberies and burglaries cost approximately 300 million dollars when totaled together, but, when a study of wage theft by business was done, it was found that wage theft here in the US is in the multiple billions of dollars every year. Yep…the cheats in business who are held up as the “job creators” and paragons of the US economy are the ones that have figured out it doesn’t take a gun or burglary tools to steal…they just have to cheat their workers with little or no chance of ever going to jail for it. What a load of crap..I wonder how many of these guys are repubs? I’d bet a large majority of them…geez…

This could have been our vice president…
Well…I am laughing my butt off right now after reading an article about the adventures of the Palin family from Wasilla…you know, Sarah, the one that ole John McCain chose to be his vice president…I guess this past week the whole family crashed a party in their home town and much hilarity ensued…and by hilarity I mean it was just a huge red neck brawl…leaving ole Sarah screaming at the top of her lungs: “Do you know who I am?” over and over again and her oldest boy standing in the street, shirtless, flipping off the other guests while the hubby, Todd, tended to the bloody nose that someone had given him….this is what you unleashed on the country McCain…and you should be ashamed…she would have been the first white trash VP…and the sick thing is that the right still reveres these sickos and gives them money…geez…
Dick Cheney is an expert?
Well…just read an article that just floored me and made it ever so clear that the repubs are the most stupid people on the face of the Earth…with all of what is going on in the mideast, caused by the repubs and their lies that broke Iraq, the congressional repubs invite the architect of that disaster back to give “advice” on what to do there. Yep, ole Dick Cheney, the person that has been wrong about everything he ever talked about was brought back to talk to these other morons today and with predictable results….his advice? More military spending and more intervention…more bombs, more killing, more torture…more of everything that screwed up the mideast on his watch….there has to be someone on the right that can see that this idiot is a failure and should be spending the rest of his life behind bars, not behind closed doors trying to screw the country and make more profit for his war monger buddies…geez…
A little politics…
Well…have been thinking about how to do a political one today and came up with this one….I think I’ll just do a few one liners and see what happens…it is making me smile that ole Scott Walker is in trouble in Wisconsin…I’ve said this before…if we vote, we win…so I hope they throw this idiot in the dustbin where he belongs…the same thing here in Michigan where ole Snyder is tied with Schauer and no one even knows Schauer yet…I hope the people here send the nerd back to his mansion so we can repeal right to work, the abortion restrictions, and the tax on pensions he and his tea party buddies rammed through….I really do like the commercials being run against Land here, too, pointing out that her entire campaign has been funded by the Koch’s and also highlighting the pollution they are responsible for…one other thing that looks good is that ole Brownback is losing in Kansas where he has instituted all of the repub pushed economic theories of tax cuts for the rich and business…and guess what? The state is almost last in job growth and has had to slash funding for their schools since they have no tax revenues anymore…and the people there are tired of the right wing hooey and the damage done to their state by his band of idiots…okay, that’s enough for now…one more to go….
Need to get caught up…
Well…as you can see, I’m still behind for the month and can’t let it get worse so I think I’ll just meander a little and see what happens….I find it so sick that he repubs are thought of as the ones that support the military…at least they wave the flag a lot and SAY they do…but the evidence is different…just look at what is happening in Texas where the idiot Perry deployed the National Guard to try to stop children fleeing from violence in their own countries from crossing the border…well…these guardsmen are hitting food pantries along the border since they don’t have enough food to eat or money for that matter…since they have to take money out of their own pockets to buy food and then wait weeks for reimbursement….I can’t understand why people still believe the repubs on anything when they are responsible for this kind of crap all around the country…geez…

Well…I’m not sure why I’m surprised to hear the comments the ole Mitch McConnell made to the group of billionaires headed by the Koch’s this past week…nope, I’m not surprised….the gist of it that was recorded is that if the repubs take charge of the senate he won’t waste time on “…the pesky minimum wage, or student loans, or income inequality…” what that implies is that he does not give a damn about the people of the US…just the rich and corporations and he will lead the charge to help them steal even more than they already have…he will lead the charge to allow them to pay no taxes…shifting the burden to you and me…..I really do hope that his opponent will take these tapes and play them non-stop for the next two months until the election…this idiot needs to go…geez…
Rotten people…
Well…in my daily travels across the internet to the news sites that I use, one of the things I have noticed is how people have become so rotten in their comments on any issue…the racists, the bigots, and the haters seem to have taken over the internet and it is breathtaking how vile these people can be…after Ferguson there were many commenters that were gleefully supporting the murder of that young man and hoping that the police there would kill many more of the protestors….and this is just one example of the hate that comes form the right…have you heard of the preacher that is proposing a constitutional amendment that would put all gays in jail for 10 years at hard labor just for being gay? I am just wondering where all this hate comes from…or is it that the internet allows for anonymity so people can vent their true feelings without fear of the society being repulsed by them? All I know is that many people now feel emboldened by the support for these vile comments and it makes me sick…geez….
The facts are in…and have been…
Well…I was going to update on the trip out to the beach today but ran across some facts on tax cuts that are given to business to bribe them to stay in a state, or to move to a state…or, like ole Snyder and his cronies did here in Michigan, just give them tax cuts just because they BELIEVE they work…never to just give more money to their donors in the never ending grift that is the repub party these days. In case you missed it that last part was snark. These two studies, one done in 2004, and another done in 2012 both came to the same conclusion, that tax cuts do nothing to create jobs and also do nothing to grow the economy in the states where this corporate welfare is doled out. So, how do they defend the continued tax cuts that decimate cities and states across the country? They have even given up that pretense…since we know that the repubs are not fact based they don’t care what the facts are…just like they knew there were WMD in Iraq and that torture is the only thing that saved the country from terrorists they just KNOW that tax cuts for business work and no amount to studies or facts can make them reconsider that belief…after all, when they are finally out of office, they want to be able to slop at the trough of free money that tax cuts for business are…geez…
It doesn’t matter…
Well….as I’ve been reading about the killing in Ferguson, one thing struck me…even with all of the eyewitnesses that saw the cop gun the kid down in cold blood…it doesn’t matter…the cop is going to walk and you can see the process happening as we speak…the time taken to release the incident report so it can be worded correctly to make it self defense, the lack of crime scene investigation and the collusion between the prosecutor and the cops that will make any justice impossible…and it doesn’t matter that the whole world is watching…the cops always get away with it and no one does anything about it…and with every one they get more and more brazen since they have learned over time that they can kill anyone they want with no consequences…some democracy, huh?
Things have calmed down…
Well…I have been quite tired today for some reason and I think it’s from only 1500 cals yesterday and the same thing today….going to try to do better today but have only been able to get to 600 or so so far and I know that is not enough…but, that’s not what this one is about…still have to talk about the simmering crap going on in Ferguson and over the past few days, the cops are at it again, raiding a church and confiscating supplies that were to be used to help the protesters…and they came in in full swat gear, to a church…what were they scared of? Angels fighting back? I am just so tired of these idiots running over the rights of the populace just to play their police state games…exactly what was the threat of donated medical supplies? I just can’t believe this crap…geez….
