Well…if you’ve heard a newscast or read the paper lately, you know of the Donalds pledge to round up and deport all the undocumented immigrants that are now in the US on “day one” if he is elected president…yeah, I never in a million years thought I’d use Trump and president in the same sentence either…kind of creepy to say the least..okay, back to the topic…one of the things that ole Donald doesn’t talk about is the cost to do this…well…there are now estimates that do put costs to this idea and that makes it even more nonsense….the latest estimates say that it would cost from 400 to 600 BILLION dollars over 20 years to get the job done….so, he thinks that spending that money just to satisfy the haters is a better deal than say, fixing the roads and bridges, or paying for college for a whole generation of Americans? It is just like a repub that they can always find money for war and hate but never to make citizens lives better…I wonder why I’m surprised at this? Shouldn’t be, it’s been this way since saint Ronnie….geez…

Another jaw dropper from the right….
Well….was reading some the past day and came across this jaw dropper from a right wing radio host…can’t find the article to get the particulars but here is the gist: his plan, which he espoused on his radio show was that we give all the undocumented people in his state….I think it was Idaho…30-60 days to ‘self deport” and after that, and here comes the jaw dropper…the state would “own” any of the undocumented that are found to be there and could be put to work doing work that needs to be done for the state for room and board…yep, the right is right back to what they still defend, slavery, for 11 million people in the US…I don’t know what to say about this one…the plan and words speak for themselves….the right still thinks slavery is a good idea….I’m shaking head….geez…
Okay, here’s an update…I didn’t want to just post this without the facts so here they are: the radio host’s name is Jan Mickleson and he is in Iowa, not Idaho….and he has hosted Walker, Fiorina, Carson, and Santorum…all repub candidates for president….and his question was” “What’s wrong with slavery”….where the hell do they get these guys?…geez…again…

Well…I have been thinking of what to write about this afternoon and have come up empty…Trump hasn’t said anything today and the rest of the idiots on the right are just doing the argle bargle that they normally do…Rubio came out and said he supports what BLM is trying to do but then said that the government has no role in fixing the disparity in policing that is felt by blacks in this country…trying to have it both ways much? Just another mealy mouthed nothing from the water boy…and we have Walker saying that he would appoint a Wisconsin education activist to his cabinet and the activist saying “no frickin way” he would serve in a Walker administration and he hasn’t even talked to the idiot in over two years….another lying lie from the liar who is trying to blur his hard right hatred for education and teachers on the back of dems who are actually trying to make things better….I can’t believe there is even going to be another repub debate in September…really, what’s the point? they all read from the same talking points and are interchangeable, so why listen? The first one was for entertainment value and to laugh at their incompetence…but, that wears thin after a while so I won’t be watching the next one…geez…
Mike Huckabee IS the village idiot…
Well…I know you’ve heard all the just frickin nuts things that ole Huck has said over the past few months but yesterday just vaulted him into village idiot status when he took issue with Black Lives Matter activists and their tactics, saying that MLK would not approve of them…and then going into the right’s talking point that “all lives matter” and that no lives are any more special than any other. Where have you been living, Huck? In your bubble of white privilege, you just can’t understand what the problem is…after all, no one is trying to take black people’s vote away…oh, wait, yes you are….no one is jailing black people on trumped up charges or murdering them …oh, wait, yes you are….and there are no overt racists in your party that will do anything to ensure that blacks are second-class citizens…oh, wait, yes there are. MLK would be standing as he did through the 50’s and 60’s…standing up to the entrenched racism in this country, standing up for equal rights and opportunity for all…and that is what BLM is doing now…what do you expect, Huck? You and your ilk have treated minorities in this country like crap forever…do you expect them to just take it? I applaud the work of BLM for shining sunlight on the racists and racism in this country…keep up the good work BLM!

Well…just like always, the repubs are supporting new legislation that would codify the ability of the haters to discriminate against the GLBT community…again…now, we have the RNC endorsing the Orwellian sounding First Amendment Defense Act….which would prevent the government from enforcing any anti discrimination laws that protect the LGBT citizens of the US. Yeah, I know…just more of the same old crap from the right wing assholes that are running the repub party these days…but the thing is, the country has moved on from this fight after the supreme cout’s same sex marriage ruling but the repubs just can’t…they just have the need to feel put upon and to restrict the rights of their fellow citizens just to be the mean assholes they are…it is settled law that once you enter the sphere of secular business that you cannot discriminate against any group and cloak it in “religious freedom”…didn’t work when they tried it against black people… and it won’t work this time against gays…just give it up pricks..you’ve lost….geez…
Gun advertising…
Well…this one happened a couple of weeks ago but I just remembered it right now so I thought I’d say my piece so I don’t forget…lately, on one of the cable channels that I some times watch, this innocuous music comes on and the ad shows people going about their days with little stars on them that I didn’t understand…then they show them in some kind of gun training course where they are obviously training to shoot someone..oh, and did I mention that most of the people in the ad are women? Then they close it our with more daily life stuff and more stars showing a woman running, then carrying a purse with it’s own little gun pocket in it as she goes about her errands, I guess….now, you’ve heard me talk here about how I just hate these companies and extremist groups that are trying to normalize the carrying of guns everywhere..but this ad just pushed me over the edge…it was by the gunmaker Glock, and it just made me sick…I have been on this earth a long, long, time and have never once felt the need to carry a gun everywhere I go…and I don’t want to live in a society where people are encouraged to be “squirting metal all over the place” to quote Donald Fagen…..you are much more likely to be hurt or killed by some damn Rambo or Ramboina that think they can save the day than by anything else…needless to say, I will never watch the channel that ran that ad again….oh, that channel is FETV…channel 82 on Dish….geez….
The repubs try to take things away…again…
Well…as I read about the latest shiny object that the repubs are focusing on, birthright citizenship, all I can think of is that they are the party of taking things away…not giving like the dems. every one of the candidates on the right are all about taking away voters rights to vote, taking away women’s rights to control their own bodies, taking away good roads and infrastructure since they will not levy the taxes to pay for it, but this last one, taking away citizenship of people they don’t like is the capper that shows just how meanspirited the repubs have become…and the dispiriting thing is that every damn one of these candidates is from an immigrant family that are citizens because of the 14th amendment that they all hate so much just because a few undocumented Hispanics have had children here who are now citizens under the law…Trump has even come out and said that he will deport every undocumented person…even if they are citizens under the law….I have really had enough of the right’s need to control everything to their advantage and to take away rights from others that they will continue to enjoy…how does anyone ever vote for these idiots? geez….

Well…just a little short one on the jaw-dropping stupidity that is coming out of ole JEB!’s campaign over the past couple of days…with the rise of the Black Lives Matter group and it’s interaction with the various campaigns since they started in earnest, ole JEB! thought he’d get out ahead of it by announcing that he met with BLM in Las Vegas before a speech he did there…only one teeny, tiny little problem with that..it was a lie…he met with some black people and a repub lobbyist but BLM was not there…not one of them..but, ole JEB! thought it was a good idea to lie about it…either that or he thinks that all black people belong to BLM so if he meets with any black person, he has met with BLM….and this guy wants to be president of all of America….what a lying sack he is….just go home, JEB! you are way out of your depth…geez…

Well…I’m sure you heard this idiots comments on the Planned Parenthood nonsense when he said that he didn’t know why we needed to spend 500 million dollars on women’s health…yeah, that is pretty stupid…but he really topped himself at a foreign policy seminar yesterday where he said that the Iraq war was “a good deal” and he would do it again even knowing that the reasons for going to war there were all lies. Here’s the cost of his “good deal”…over 4400 dead US soldiers (not counting the PTSD affected ones that came home and killed themselves), over 115,000 dead Iraqis, 1.7 TRILLION dollars in direct costs that possibly could balloon to over 6 trillion dollars once the total costs of care for the troops is counted….I don’t know if he is stupid or just cynical but to me, and anyone else, this could never be a “good deal”….war is never a “good deal” and the toll on the military and our country done by his “good deal” will never be repaired…I just hate this guy and his entire family…geez…
JEB! crashes and burns on foreign policy…
Well….in what was supposed to be a defining speech that would show ole JEB!’s foreign policy chops, his speech at the Reagan library instead exposed the shallow, naive person that ole JEB! is especially on the middle east. His speech did the normal crap that is red meat to the right….Obama bad, Hillary bad and right wing policies of intervention are good and necessary and the only thing that will bring peace to the middle east….but the whole problem here is that the interventionist crap plays well with the right in this country but is ridiculed by the rest of the world for what they are…the purile thoughts of someone out of his depth and is reliving the bad decisions of the neocons that roiled the middle east in the first place….but the big thing is his statement that he will rescind the Iran deal on day one if he is elected…but the rest of the signatories to the agreement and the UN are saying “not so fast”…you can’t abrogate an international agreement unilaterally on a whim….and that sums up the unreality where ole JEB! lives….he lives in the same fantasy world where his party resides…that the US can do anything they damn well please and everyone else just has to take it….he is just detached from reality…and will never be elected…ever…geez…
