Well…if you want to see the real GOP and what they would do to voting rights across the country, you just have to look at North Carolina. Today, the repubs there sent out a press release crowing that African American early voting is down by 10%….and showing that their voter suppression tactics of closing down polling places in AA neighborhoods and cutting early voting times really do work…as they intended…and you know, there is only one party that crows that they have kept people from voting and is doing it’s best to suppress votes all across the country. Why is this acceptable? Why isn’t this the lead story on every news show? I think people have gotten used to how rotten the modern repubs are and they don’t think this is a story…but, we all need to keep talking about this and vote these asses out of office…geez…

Nevermind….
Well…just as I said has been found to be true…that there is nothing in the new e-mail “scandal” that the repubs have breathlessly screamed about for the past week….Comey just sent a letter to the idiot Chaffetz saying that their conclusion has not changed after looking at this new “evidence”…that Hillary did nothing wrong and all of it was created out of thin air by partisans on the right…just like Benghazi, just like Whitewater, and every other damn ‘scandal” that the right has tried to smear Hillary with…there is nothing there…I wonder if this will even be reported on Fox news? After they spent a week pushing the “Hillary is going to be indicted” meme…ha, ha, ha….that even made ME laugh…..but none of this excuses Comey’s blatant attempt to get his guy Trump elected…and it doesn’t excuse people that work for him doing the same kind of crap out of the NY office…they all need to go….geez…
I just want this to be over…
Well…normally, I am a political junkie and follow the entire thing right up to election day but this year is different…this year I just want this to be over. Nothing but political ads on the tv today and it is moving me very close to skipping the Lions today so I don’t have to see them…this has been one disappointing election with the idiot Trump just spewing lie after lie and no one calling him on it…and yesterday, when some repub protester tried to hold up a sign criticizing Trump, someone yelled “gun” and the SS had to get Trump off the stage just in case…the protester was beaten by the crowd though, and there has been no contrast to how Obama handled a protester at a Hillary rally…where he stood up for the man and told the crowd to let him speak…that’s not the worst part….ole Trump has morphed the SS moving him off the stage to a “murder attempt” that he survived…another huge lie and I am getting just so tired of his ass getting away with it…okay…this is depressing me so I am going to go do something else….
Who’s the criminal?
Well…with the idiot Trump continuing to whip his crowds up with chants of “lock her up”, it’s time to really look at who is the criminal here. Over the past 25 years, the repubs have spent over 100 million dollars “investigating” the Clintons…and guess what? While the right breathlessly repeats that Hillary is under investigation, none of them have found any criminal wrongdoing by her. On the other side, the idiot Donald is going on trial for fraud on Monday…the first of many trials related to him ripping off the students at his Trump U…and just yesterday, the NLRB has found that he is breaking the law by refusing to bargain with unionized workers at his Las Vegas hotel. And yet, working class people are overwhelmingly supporting him no matter that his policies would drive them even deeper into poverty if he is elected. So, who’s the criminal here? It sure isn’t Hillary…geez…
This is why the FBI needs to be reformed…
Well…if it wasn’t bad enough that the FBI director tried to swing the election to Trump last week with a breathless letter to congress that said there were new e-mails to be looked at from Hillary’s server…never mind that they were not sent to nor from Hillary…he still had to try to help his guy Trump…now we find that the investigation into the Clinton Foundation was not based on anything but a book written by a noted Clinton hater that was pulled by the publisher since it was full of provable lies. But, that it was against the Clintons was enough for the FBI to spend millions of dollars investigating the right wing propaganda from the book. Now, this is a pattern of the people in the FBI and the director using the agency to forward their right wing views when it is supposed to be a neutral fact finding institution…and that is enough to reform the organization from top to bottom to weed out the people who are, on a daily basis, letting their political views and their Clinton derangement syndrome color and delegitimatize the entire organization….something needs to be done…and no more “internal investigations” that are just CYA…geez….
There’s only one candidate going to trial…
Well…with all of the rhetoric from the idiot Trump saying that Hillary is a criminal and should be in jail, let’s just remember that there is only one candidate who is going to trial for actual crimes….in late November, ole Trump is going on trial for felony fraud in regard to his scam “Trump university” and the thousands of people he defrauded…and this is not speculation, this is not hyperbole…this is a real crime committed by this candidate…and I just don’t know why the media has been so in the tank for Trump on this issue…a felon, trying to get elected to the presidency…that’s the story that should be written…not some innuendo about a few e-mails…geez…
Rudy Giuliani is a racist…
Well…despite his protestations that he wasn’t going to “politicize” the killings of two police officers in DesMoines…ole Rudy went on to do just that…comparing these killing to those that happened after Eric Garner was murdered in NYC…and the dog whistle of law and order was there along with the assumption by this ass (without any evidence) that the killer was a black man. Well…guess what Rudy? It was a white guy who has been seen breaking into sporting events carrying a confederate flag and generally being an asshole…hmmmm…I wonder who he supports for president….yeah, that’s an easy one..Trump signs all over his yard….and talk of armed revolution if Trump loses. You own this crap Trump…and Rudy….you have destroyed the small faith that people had in the institutions of government just for your petty aggrandizement….now, there are two officers dead because of it….did I hear an apology? Nope…didn’t think so…geez…
Harry Reid is a badass…
Well…with the flap about James Comey of the FBI trying to influence the outcome of the election, Harry Reid just sent this letter to Comey about Trump and his cronies:
“I am writing to inform you that my office has determined that these actions may violate the Hatch Act, which bars FBI officials from using their official authority to influence an election. Through your partisan actions, you may have broken the law.”
“In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government — a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity. The public has a right to know this information. I wrote to you months ago calling for this information to be released to the public. There is no danger to American interests from releasing it. And yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.”
“I led the fight to get you confirmed because I believed you to be a principled public servant,” Reid concluded. “With the deepest regret, I now see that I was wrong.”
THIS should be the story…..geez….
Even worse for Comey….
Well…I know I’ve been harping on the idiot Comey and his attempt to affect the election by his ham-handed letter to the repubs in congress that he knew would be used as ammunition against Hillary, but there is one more thing…or a couple of things that need to be said. First, this idiot does this breathless nonsense when he has never seen the e-mails in question…in fact, no one in the FBI has seen them since they are still negotiating the warrant that is necessary for them to be read…so…we do know that they are not from or to Hillary and that they are not classified….so what the hell was Comey doing hyping them to the repubs? Just putting his finger on the scale any way he could to help his man Trump….but, this little mess might just cost Comey his job…there has been a complaint made to the government ethics office that Comey at the very least has broken rules of the justice department and may have broken the law by revealing details of an ongoing investigation…that would be just the height of irony..that the country’s top cop breaks the law for political advantage…or just stupidity…not sure what one is worse…geez…
Why no news releases from Comey on Trump?
Well…the FBI director showed his true colors Friday when he tried to change the election by a news release that announced that they have found “new” e-mails that might have something to do with Hillary’s e-mail server. Never mind that this goes against decades of policy at the FBI and that the Attorney General told Comey not to comment on an ongoing investigation, this idiot just had to wade in with his man Trump losing. My question here is why no releases on the 5 different investigations that Trump is under? You would think that the excuse of “transparency” would work both ways, wouldn’t you? Nope, not for the repubs…who can NEVER be trusted…ever! So resign, Comey, you have destroyed an trace of credibility that you had left and have ruined the reputation of the FBI along with it….geez…
